3. PREPARING YOUR HOME
Having a small budget to prepare your home for sale can pay huge dividends. ALEX will work with you and make recommendations to maximize the value of your home. You will be surprised what a few cans of paint can do to make your home that much more saleable!
4. DECLUTTER AND CLEAN
This is a key factor. Decluttering and removing personal objects goes a long way to making buyers feel comfortable in your home. If necessary, rent a storage unit for a few months. A good thorough cleaning is necessary. Even steam cleaning the carpets can be an added benefit.
5. PHOTOS AND VIDEO
In consultation with ALEX, he will book professional photos and videos, depending on your specific marketing plan.
6. SHOW YOUR HOME
Time to find a buyer! Make sure your home is in tip-top shape all the time. To keep all of the showings organized, we use an online text or call system to book showings.
7. RECEIVE AN OFFER AND NEGOTIATE
The best case scenario is a bidding war, but it doesn’t always happen. Once an offer comes in, ALEX will help you understand the terms and conditions of the offer and advise you whether to accept, reject or counter the offer.
8. CLOSING THE DEAL
ALEX will recommend a lawyer, movers, other services if necessary. Your lawyer will converse with the Buyers lawyer prior to closing. Your lawyer will have you bring in keys prior to closing.
